I had broken images in a course thoughout 40 quizzes...

This is a course that did not migrate well from our old server to the new.  The bottom line was about 400 quiz question in approx. 40 quizzes that had question images that were all broken.  I could see that the images migrated to the course ok, but the reference to them when I edited the quiz question was incorrect.

After testing one question and getting the correct URL for the question image, I was left with a very painful task of manually updating all these images URLs.

Thankfully, this utility saved the day!

While logged in as admin on your site, browse to

SITEURL\admin\tool\restore. 

this is the simple form that greets you.  I backed up my course first, then provided the before and after url, clicked the check box and then Yes, do it now.


After completing, I checked my course and all the URLs were corrected.  Yea.  This saved me a lot of time.
