This happened again last week. I got messages from two of my customers that their moodle site was down. Previously, I had changed the Wampapache service on the server(s) from manual to automatic. When I saw this behavior again, I looked a little harder and noticed that in addition to the Wampapache service, there is a Wampmysqld service. Opps!
I changed the Startup Type for the Wampmysqld service to Automatic too.
I am confident that when Windows resets my servers for whatever reason, they will come completely back on-line and my customers will not have to remind me that their server is down.
I updated this service on each of my three servers.
