My block titles turned red....and how I solved and fixed

The other day, I dumped the cache on my moodle instance and all the block titles, site wide, turned from black to red. Every block in every course....

Using Firefox, I turned on my web tools, specifically Tools | Web developer | Inspector and inspected one of the block titles to see what css rule was responsible for formatting the title.  I found that an h2 tag was used and somewhere in the massive YUI add in, plug in, javascript framework...the h2 was being set to red.

Oye.

After a little trial and error (on my RD instance, of course), I added a rule to the bass.css file in the root of the active theme.  This is the rule.

h2{color:black;}

Simple huh?

I do not know why this happened, but the workaround seems reasonable.
