Course editing formatting backing up and deploying

My process.  A course deployment request comes from my customer (we have over 150 courses, some I deploy pro-actively (popular ones) others wait (like now) until enrollments show up, then he requests a copy of a course be put into a teacher category.

We have 3 commercial vendors that we obtain content from.  We have a set of master courses, where I do all the prefatory steps to a new course before deploying it.  You could say I am *preparing the courses, or formatting the course or distilling the course or .....

Steps when deploying a new International Business course
  1. Checked if there was already a copy of course in teacher category
  2. Logged into my moodle account where i create course backups
  3. Checked if there was an existing backup of the course - there was - but I created a new backup anyway - vendor content changes quickly
  4. Went to the master category and found the course in the list
  5. Added a label to the course
  6. Added blocks to the course
  7. Formatted the course gradebook
  8. Ran course deployment script on the course (sets quiz timings, removes unwanted settings etc)
  9. Created a new backup of the formatted course
  10. Upon backup completion deployed new course into teacher category
  11. Enrolled the teacher in teacher role (manual process) in new course
  12. Shared the course short name with my colleague who uses it to sync to external enrollment system

Anything else?  This process took about 10 minutes.

One more thing - these courses come from the vendor hidden or unavailiable to students.  I have to remember to make it visible upon completion
